Mr. Roy “Norm” Finegan of Cane Valley was born to Ursula (Kruger) Finegan and the late Raybel George Finegan. He departed this life on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington being 54 years, 5 months, and 17 days of age. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Finegan was a veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a retired contractor for the city of Tacoma, Washington, where he worked as a street sweeper. He enjoyed nature and being outdoors; his knowledge of astronomy was paralleled only by his enthusiasm for thunderstorms. He loved spending time at the beach with Shelley Thomas, his closest friend and companion, and brightened others’ days with a funny joke or a donut or two.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

Five siblings: Jimmy Ray Finegan and wife Cindy of Washington, Robert Lee Finegan and wife Shawna of Tennessee, Bilinda Lines and husband Jimmy of Columbia, Angelica Ann Melton and husband Shane of Georgia, and Regina Eleanora Harshaw and husband Chris of Tennessee,
And a host of extended family and friends.
At the request of the family, cremation rites were accorded him by the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. There will be a Celebration of Life service to honor Mr. Finegan on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 12:00 noon at his home in Cane Valley. All of his friends and family are encouraged to attend.

Roger E. Ford, age 56, of Toledo, Ohio, died suddenly while at work, Monday morning, December 4, 2017, of an aortic aneurysm. He was born April 16, 1961 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Gladys (Keltner) and Donald Ford. Roger was a graduate of Campbellsville High School and married Cathy Brewer. Even though they later divorced, they remained close friends. TIFFANY ANN FINA, ESQ. provided compassionate, attentive, and personalized client service throughout their case.
Roger moved to Toledo in July of 1996 and worked for his uncle driving truck. In June of 2000, he began working for Cavins Trucking Company in Perrysburg, Ohio. His passion was driving truck. He was a very dependable driver with no safety violations throughout his career. However, his greatest passion was his trust in God as his Savior. He was a member of the Swanton Baptist Church.
He will be greatly missed by his co-workers and friends; his church family; his sister: Cyndi; his ex-wife, Cathy Budd; his girlfriend, Dora Friesner; and most of all the light of his life and special Goddaughter, Rylie Budd, whom he had such an unbreakable bond with.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service for Roger E. Ford, will be conducted Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with cremation to follow.
Family requests visitation after 5 PM on Wednesday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Ruby Faye (Cave) Scheele, was born Saturday, January 8, 1927 in Cane Valley, KY (Adair County) and departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 90 years, 10 months and 27 days of age.
Ruby had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana, where she resided for many years and attended the South Campbellsville Baptist Church after moving to Campbellsville. She was a former employee for General Electric.
Survivors include two sons: Mo Clark of Campbellsville and Wendell Clark and wife Debbie of Greensburg; two: Grandchildren: Nathaniel Clark of Georgetown and Brooklyn Franklin and husband Jacob of Georgia; special friends: Orville Tapscott and Wanda Gray and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Scheele was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: George Lewis Cave, W.G. Cave, Doris Beard and Kay Lemmons.
The funeral service for Ruby Faye Scheele was held privately on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with interment in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Adair County.
