Joe Henry Taylor of Campbellsville, son of the late Walter Taylor and Ruth Kidwell Taylor, was born August 5, 1944 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
Joe was a retired School Bus driver for the Campbellsville Independent School System for over thirty two years. In Joe’s spare time he would attend auctions but nothing compared to his love for cars. He enjoyed working on them, going to car sales and doing some trading of his own.
He united in marriage to Laura Allen September 29, 1966.
Besides his wife, Laura Allen Taylor, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Mike Taylor and wife, Beverly, Jim Taylor and wife, Delois, Florence Rhodes and husband, Bert and Helen Walker all of Campbellsville; brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny Allen and wife, Tonia, Peggy Fox and husband, Jeff and Danny Buckman of Campbellsville, Robert Allen and wife, Barbara of Somerset, Shirley Sallee of Greensburg and Bill Allen and wife, Marsha and Barbara Brock and husband, Gilbert of Columbia; many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Bishop and a sister-in-law, Charlotte “Cha” Buckman.

Howard Raymond, 77

Mr. Howard Max Raymond of Campbellsville was born on May 5, 1940 to the late Simon and Dorothy (Bierbryer) Ryman and departed this life on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 77 years, 6 months, and 20 days of age. Mr. Raymond was retired from the United States Army, where he had served for 30 years and earned the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He would later also retire from the Cox Interior plant in Campbellsville after 15 years of labor. Mr. Raymond was a member of the Big Spring Masonic Lodge #826 F&AM, and Eastern Star, and a lifetime member of the VFW.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His wife of 52 years: Brigitte (Heller) Raymond of Campbellsville,

A son: Simon Raymond of Radcliff,

Two special friends: Theodore Supulski of Texas, and Walter Wetcel of Louisville,

And a host of other family and close friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Raymond, and a sister, Libby Raymond.

At the request of Mr. Raymond, there will be a private memorial service to honor his life at a later date. His body will be laid to rest in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Ricky Roy, 49

Mr. Ricky Lee Roy of the Windsor community in Casey County, formerly of Campbellsville, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born on January 15, 1968 to the late Kelly Ray and Barbara Ann (Puckett) Roy, he was 49 years, 10 months, and 7 days of age. Mr. Roy suffered many disabilities during his life, but he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

Three siblings: Patricia Sluder and husband Greg of Campbellsville, Rhonda Roy of Campbellsville, and Jamey Roy of Windsor,

And several other extended family members and friends.

There will be a graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Roy on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 1:00 PM EST at the Thomas Ridge, Thomas Ridge Rd, Casey County, KY.
