Eva Deener of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Garrett Sanders Hedgespeth and Harriet Edna Bennett Hedgespeth, was born August 10, 1915, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:36 P.M., Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 102
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Eva united in marriage to Walter Deener August 27, 1932 and he preceded her in death April 17, 1987.
She had a servant heart and would always greet you with a smile.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Hall of Campbellsville; one grandson, David Hall and wife, Donna of Campbellsville; one grandson-in-law, Donald Weeks of Indiana; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Eva Hall of Campbellsville; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: W.H. Morris of Louisville, Oralee Morris and Colby and Gloria Deener of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dr. Bobbie Jean Hall December 28, 2013, a grandson, Stephen Hall December 4, 1964 and a son-in-law, Rev. Gene Hall on August 9, 2014.

Frances McVay Russell Sprowles of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Winslow Nelson McVay and Lula Pearl Holt McVay, was born April 20, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky.
She died at 10:29 P.M., Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Frances was a people person and enjoyed attending church programs with family and friends.
After moving to Bluegrass Way, she was eagerly involved in the many activities offered, especially the morning devotionals, bingo and rook. When she was able, she enjoyed feeding the birds and working in her flowers and had always had a green thumb. She was an avid UK fan and wouldn’t miss a game on TV; she even dressed up for them. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband of thirty-one years, George and family. After his death, she looked forward to being reunited with him.
Frances united in marriage to George H. Sprowles on September 1, 1973. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2004 and she loved him dearly until her death.
She is survived by one daughter and three sons: Lana Helm and husband, David, Mike Russell and wife, Joyce, Stephen Russell and wife, Linda and Eddie Sprowles and wife, Vickie of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Shana Crabtree and husband, Allen, Dana Dudgeon and husband, David, Brian Helm and wife, Marcie, Isaac Russell and wife, Rebekah, Bridget Helm, and Trevor Sprowles; seven great-grandchildren: Molly Crabtree, Colin Helm, Andrew Helm, Aidan Cox, Ethan Cox, Keegan Cox, and Avery Cox; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Sprowles, and two sisters and a brother: Dorothy McVay Richerson, Ella McVay Moss, and Russell McVay.

Mrs. Sandra Dee Mills passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at her home in Campbellsville after an illness. Born on February 23, 1965 in Ft. Thomas, KY to Frank Mills, Jr. and the late Carolyn (Woolum) Mills, she was 52 years, 7 months, and 13 days of age. She was a Regional Director of the Texas Medical Diagnostic Center and was a proud mother and grandmother. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved spending time with her family, and often took them on shopping excursions, camping, fishing, or anything else she could think of to bring everyone together. Handyman General Contractor at home improvement projects, she also found solace in nature, and was gifted at making flower arrangements or other crafts.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Four children: Kimberly Sims of Campbellsville, Brandon Sears and wife Dana of Elizabethtown, Jennifer Sears of Campbellsville, and Casey Sears of Campbellsville,
Her father: Frank Mills, Jr. of Eddy, Texas,
Four siblings: Herma Turner and husband Bob of Texas, Charles Mills and wife Lavita of Arkansas, Maggie Maddox of Covington, and Rebecca Traylor and husband Jeff of Elsmere,
Six grandchildren (with a seventh on the way),
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Mills on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Bob Turner will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, West Main St, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 12:00 noon until time for the service.
