Curtis Phillips of Campbellsville, formerly of Tampa, Florida, son of the late Wayne Delmore Phillips and Phyllis Jean Kearney Phillips, was born July 22, 1967 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 3:00 A.M., Friday, September 1, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 50
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Curtis was a former clerk at Chevron Stations as well as a mechanic. He received a lot of enjoyment from fixing up old cars and from cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He is survived by two sisters: Lisa Robin Phillips Colodny of Parkland, Florida and Misty Phillips of Phoenix, Arizona; one niece, Samantha Colodny of Parkland, Florida; a dog, Buttercup, that he loved like a child; several cousins, aunts and uncles and many other friends.

Sandy Shreve, age 64

Sandra Kaye Shreve, 64 years, 8 months and 2 days of age, of Campbellsville, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at her home after an illness.

She was born in Yuma Community of Taylor County on January 4, 1953 the daughter of the late Daniel and Marjorie Carolyn Gribbins Peterson.    Also preceding her in death was her sisters, Nancy Huddleston Grider and Montra Carolyn Huddleston as well as her brother, James Michael Huddleston; a grandson, Zachary Harris and three step-children, Michael Shreve, Marcus Shreve and Kathy Hearon.

Prior to her retirement she worked for Fruit of the Loom for nearly 30 years.    In her spare time, she loved spending time with her six grandchildren.   She was a member of New Journey Church as well as a member of the Emmaus Community.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Mitchell Shreve; her daughters, Lori Rawlings and her husband Kevin of Campbellsville and Jeannie Tungate and her husband Stan of South Lebanon, Ohio and a step son, James Shreve and his wife Vanessa of Campbellsville.   Also surviving are her brothers, Roger Huddleston and his wife Sheila of Cynthiana, Tony Huddleston and his wife Robin of Florence, Mark Huddleston of Corbin and Kent Huddleston of Russell County as well as her six grandchildren, Michael Gutierrez, Haley Gutierrez, Ethan Marrs, Jonathan Tungate, Joseph Tungate and Jordan Tungate and special friend Anna Huff.

Funeral service for Sandra Kaye Shreve will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating.   Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery with casket bearers being Roger Huddleston, Stan Tungate, Jonathan Tungate, Dennis Gribbins, James “Jimmy” Shreve and Michael Gutierrez with honorary bearers being Kevin Rawlings, Haley Gutierrez, Ethan Marrs, Joseph Tungate and Jordan Tungate.

The family request visitation after 10:00 a.m. until time for the service on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Ronnie Barnett

Ronnie Barnett of Campbellsville, son of Dorothy VanDyke Barnett and the late Leslie Barnett, was born January 25, 1948 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 9:40 A.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 69
He professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Ronnie was well known for his love of music and both sang and played many different instruments. He had also played with several local bands in the community.
He was a retired plant manager with the Campbellsville Water Company.
He united in marriage to Shirley Cox September 16, 1995.
Besides his wife, Shirley Barnett, he is survived by one daughter: Cindy Swafford of Campbellsville; one step-daughter, Lisa McFall of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Ryan Swafford, Emily Swafford and Elizabeth Swafford; two step-grandchildren: Aaron McFall and Amye McFall; one step-great-grandchild, Hailey Raine Graham; his mother, Dorothy Barnett, all of Campbellsville; one brother, Bob Hill and wife, Nancy of Alvaton; one niece, Annette Hill of Bowling Green and many other relatives and friends.
