He died at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 5, 2003, at his home.Age: 83He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Union Separate Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He was active in the music ministry and formerly held many singing schools.He was a farmer and blacksmith and shod horses. He united in marriage to Etha Mae Scott January 24, 1939. Besides his wife, Etha Mae Skaggs of North L N Turnpike, Hodgenville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Ralph Morris of Louisville; one grandson and his wife, Gary and Nina Morris of Louisville and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by one brother, Willie R.
